Past India Mission Projects
A mission team from Culture Waves Global team traveled to Andhra Pradesh, India in March of 2014. This exciting trip was packed with ministry opportunities. We kicked off the trip with a two-day-long pastor's conference for area tribal pastors. Nearly 200 of these wonderful men of God traveled from as far as 90kim in order to participate in this event. Our team led worship services in several different venues (three churches on Sunday alone!). Partnered with translators, our team went out into tribal villages going door to door conducting personal evangelsim projects. Upon completion of our trip, 33 people had accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! Thirty-one people were baptized in the lake!
In September, 2014 our team returned for the purpose of conducting medical clinics in Tribal Villages. Upon completion, our team provided free medication and medical care for 819 people! 16 people came to faith in Jesus! 11 of those were baptized in the lake. Our team also provided food and blanets for a very poor remote village. Lastly, during our September trip, through the contributions of our partners, Culture Waves Global was able to fund a new deep-bore well for the Tribal Village in Andhra Pradesh, India. This well was 190 feet deep and will provide clean, disease-free drinking water for more than 1,000 people for the forseable future.
Below are some photos of our time in India. This trip was an incredible blessing to the people of India, as well as, our team. All of our participants left India with a great sense of anticipation to return again soon.
